Mural for thank you.
by timThe Mural is DONE! It looks great! , I am very happy with it. I am sure Melissa is saying “yea, you better be”. I must give all credit to My Lissa on the mural. It was her who saw the QBP parts catalog, that had a cover with this print on it, and said ‘that?s IT!? Then she put her foot in her mouth when she said “I can do that”. Of course she followed through & put lots of hours INTO it, you are a goddess, thank you so much for the LOVE you have given. Must thank Steve Flagg of QBP to give the OK to use the catalog cover. Thank you Steve. There was a plan to paint the walls. Not really a mural plan. We had bantered over those little cards with the colors on them for a couple of weeks. I had gone to several of my trusty artisans and gotten their opinions. We had taken Sprecher beer cartons and cut them up and used them as those little color card things as well. Of course the carton looked better after a few Sprechers. I will say, I have never seen Mike M so exited as he does with those color card things in his hands. (what the hell are those things called anyway). I think Mike M even started to lisssssp a few times; he was so exited & cute. In the end, USPS came through with the delivery of a new QBP catalog, and it made the final decision on the painting. Actually, a mural was not planned. When we saw the catalog with the tree print, that was it, it just fit. And My Lissa was the one who made it apparent & made it happen. What a Goddess. I have never gotten as close to my friends, as I have in the last year. OH MY! The force of friendship is amazing. Today, I decided to dedicate this mural to my friends. Melissa, I thank you for the time and mental torture you put yourself through, in getting this mural on the wall. Eee gad! We both commented on how are worst critic was ourselves, it sucks to be anal. I am so blessed with friends; I wanted something to give to them. This is it. This mural. Sorry, if you were expecting a bike. There are so many folks to thank, as I mentioned, Melissa put herself way out on the mural and in more ways in emotional support. Ron & Ann, Doug & Bonnie, the Bottrell Familia (Mike you are my fathering mentor), Metzger?s B&L I love U, Karla(you saintes), my staff, Hannah (sorry about the phone bills), my Mom in Law Rosie, Mike O Lee (I put you through so much stress, sorry), Mike M & Apryl for love and support beyond imagine (you have have given to a very deep familial level, and I hope I can repay you in some way some day) , Kyle Ebbe (my brother, my laborer, the Unions would be proud of), Kyle Lens, Penelope for support, Andrea P for support that can only be described in close quarters oooh dee laaa laaa, Brose Butt & Nez for being shit heads & they probably won’t even read this), John for allowing Molly help me, & Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly thank you, Molly thank you for keeping me moving vertical. You kept me alive. You are a living angel of God and you don?t even know it. You are, in my view the best Mother a child could have, bless me God if I die may I come back as a child of Molly’s. Molly thank you, for being my friend, I love you! Thanks Mom for calling me every other day. And If there Is anyone in this two glass of wine stupor, I have missed I am so sorry. I hope the photos come though for this mural. My competence for computers is limited. It will take you all five minutes to read this, and it took me four hours to write.
