What the Weather!

Who ordered the snow?
There should be a rule that once you have ridden in shorts, you can not go back to tights or heaven forbid that damn trainer after March 31st. Especially if you happened to already get a bit of a tan line. I feel like I have to start all over again.
What is it with those who want to hide their cyclist tan lines? Those of you who are timid about their odd stripes and lines, come on, it’s like getting a free tattoo from God. Wear it proudly, it says “I am a cyclist, hear my tires hum!” Only the non-cyclists are laughing and what they think doesn’t count.
After we had our little spring teaser Momentum was quite busy. I have been trying to keep my goal in sight, work orders to a two day or at worst three day turn around. Unfortunately we got slammed so fast and so hard I was pushing four or five days. Oh well, at least I had a goal to shoot for.
Katie raced a few weekends back and picked up two third places, pretty cool, Huh? Seth also raced (same weekend) in an event and took 13th with all the fast guys, wow!
I was trying to come up with a good blog, had been working to try and finish one when Molly called and told me to just put something out there. I may have been a bit to wordy. I think this will be a good impromptu blog.
Hope you all are staying warm and dry.
Timothy
Hey hey!!
I agree! Who wants to ride on the trainer any more!!?? NOT ME!! Anyhow, I am with you when it comes to the tan lines– although I am slightly dreading next summer- I’ll have nice perma bike tan all winter and then begin riding again, and hopefully I’ll be able to get rid of the tan lines on my arms for my wedding next summer!
Katie,
It’s good to see Tim back. I checked out your site. Looks like you are doing well!
I actually had to fake bake for my own wedding to get rid of those tan lines. I hated to do it but it I did it a month or so before so I wouldn’t be so orange for the wedding. I just couldn’t do strapless with those tan lines! The woes of being a girl
