Wanted: Used, unused, abused, battered, unwanted, & neglected bicycles. Momentum Bikes will repair them, lube them, clean them, give them some love and will send them with our friend Merle. Merle will load them up in his trailer, haul them to New Orleans, and he will find them homes where people are in need of reliable transportation.

I have been looking for a way, a place or a cause to use my skills to benefit someone, and a place in this world. Then Merle came in and asked, if he got me the bikes, If I would do the work to get them into shape for someone to use. I was delighted to have the opportunity to do so. Merle brought lots of bikes. But, I still need more.

I need more bikes. If you have any bikes in the garage cluttering up space? I will take them. Bikes in the barn all covered with dust? I will clean them. Kids have all gone and left there two wheeled steeds behind, in favor of the four wheel option? I will give the bikes the love they’ve lost. Maybe you are up for an upgrade? We can recycle the rusty one for you & set you up with a trusty new bike.

To all those that have donated, thanks. I am sure that the bike we give will make a difference in some ones lives.

Even the bikes in the photo above look cold and will be thankfull to move south to enjoy the warmer climates. Cheers to you all and stay warm.
